The Adirondack chair is one of the most popular of pieces for the outdoor world. These chairs are made of extra thick five-quarter western red cedar. This wood is perfectly suitable for outdoor furniture! The chairs are hand assembled with utmost care and attention to detail. All pieces are sanded before assembly. Caps are used on the screw holes to present a finished look. Chairs are left unfinished as customers have wanted to do their own finish! Suggested finishes are paint, spar varnish, or Penafin oil. The hardest thing on the wood is ultra-violet rays from the sun.
