IowaBiz is a great resource even if you live out of Iowa
Ahh! Sunday reading, and a long weekend to boot. I'm probably the only crazy sitting at my computer at this moment because the temperature outside in Des Moines, Iowa are lovely--mid 80s, sunny, breezy. It's quite nice.
David is taking time to listen to his iTunes library and make CD compilations. He's really into the 70s and 80s music and never seems to get enough of it.
In a bit we'll head off to the Varsity Theatre to watch the afternoon matinee and then head back to grill out steaks and have our daughter and son-in-law over for dinner.
Still though, there is a little time here to take a look at resources available. This week I'm specifically impressed with the offerings on Iowabiz.com.
Mike Sansone talks about the mix of technologies and podcasting. As you may know, podcasting is very near and dear to me. Entrepreneur People offers up some gifted insights and stories from entrepreneurs that teach and entertain.
Also, Drew McLellan talks about a new Business Building Breakfast Series that starts on September 19. Sounds like a great resource for local merchants here. What do you think Drew, could these be recorded and shared as podcasts?
I loved the piece by Tom Vander Well on customer service. Who does not have one of those types of experiences to share?
There's a slew of other informative posts by an impressive list of regular contributors covering things about law, accounting, insurance, marketing, and other topics for businesses. I'd list them all here but it's Sunday after all and time to switch gears.
My recommendation is to go take a look at Iowabiz and the wealth of resources that can be helpful in Iowa or out of Iowa.
Thanks for reading!
